External Debeaders 400-1200mm

Designed to remove external beads from completed butt-fusion welds. The chisel taps into the pipe beads, then the straightening block slides against the pipe surface to guide it around the pipe. The blade cuts under the bead and the handle helps pull the tool around the pipe, cutting the bead. Available in three different sizes.

The blade is shaped to cut beads without damaging the pipe. Pipe regression blades are available; please inquire with us for details. A wear block is attached to the tool to protect it from damage if it falls onto the pipe. Fully approved for UK Gas Industry Standard PL2-5 and all water service pipes.
